At lunchtime today I decided to take a stroll down Fifth Ave. I am happy to say the heat wave broke so it was possible to be outdoors for more than five minutes without broiling.

I thought I would check out the newly opened Panera, but the line was out the door and down the sidewalk. Really?

There were anti-Obama healthcare protestors along the walk, but they were rather sedate and boring.

The Jews for Jesus were out, sharing their brochures with anyone that would take one.
